A huge bloom of Cyanobacteria
(Blue- Green Algae), hits the Mississippi Coast Gulf, causing the whole Tourist
season to be empty since the 4th of July. He reported, rain from the
upper Midwest coast washed huge amount of water and created floods up to the
gulf coast. The floods carried farm fertilizers in a huge amount offshore,
created dead zone in the gulf causing blue green algae bloom off the
Mississippi Beaches. Peter reported, this misfortune negatively impacted the
City of Mississippi tourist revenue.”
